PARTNERSHIPS

ANTICAPITALISM FOR ARTISTS
In 2021, Beehive partnered with Anticapitalism for Artists to facilitate a deeper dramaturgical exploration of capitalism's effects on art via an array of events about how class intersects with racism, sexism, and ableism, all within the larger context of the theater industry and the arts as a whole. Anticapitalism for Artists is an inclusive education community dedicated to raising the class consciousness of artists of all kinds, in order to transform the living conditions of both arts workers and the world. Launch weekend was held march 19-21. More information about the organization can be found at anticapitalismforartists.com.

PAGE 73
Since 2018, Beehive has been working with Page 73 to curate an inclusive reader pool and facilitate the application process for the P73 Playwriting Fellowship and the Interstate 73 Writers Group.

MUSICAL THEATRE FACTORY
From 2015-2021, Beehive served as resident dramaturgs and artistic associates at MTF. Over the years, the co-founders dramaturged projects, facilitated the People of Color Representation Roundtable and the Women and Trans Representation Roundtable, helped found the MTF Makers residency program, curated concerts and events, connected artists to resources, and advised on programming throughout the season.

Workshop development with: Scotty Arnold, Nikko Benson, Ben Bonnema, Michelle Elliot, Benjamin Halstead, Michael R. Jackson, Nichole Jackson, Anna K. Jacobs, Jaime Jarrett, Sukari Jones, Dmitry Koltunov, Danny Larsen, Melissa Li, Teresa Lotz, Brandon Lowden, Douglas Lyons, Brett Macias, Ethan Pakchar, Alex Pototsky, Christina Quintana, Sarah Rebell, Harrison David Rivers, Heath Saunders, Kim Saunders, Jahn Sood, Christopher Staskel, Eric Tipler, Will Reynolds, Kit Yan, and Zack Zadek

"Working with Natasha, Jeremy, and Molly has been an invaluable opportunity to show Musical Theatre Factory writers how useful a dramaturg can be in their development process. These shows have grown and gone on to receive further support from MTF. The projects we bring in to MTF are widely varied in tone, style, and content, and Beehive dramaturgs have proven themselves adept at customizing their approach to the needs of the artists they are working with—providing everything from talking through story and theme, to feedback sessions with the creative team and audiences about how intent is landing, to deep discussions about structure and character arcs."
